Your first opportunity to see the new look Atlanta Hawks will be Sunday, October 7 when they open the preseason schedule against the NBA Champion Miami Heat. The preseason schedule returns to the normal seven games post lockout and the team will have the benefit of a full training camp which may be needed to fully acclimate so many new faces to the roster.
Following the opener against Miami, Atlanta will hit the road for three straight with stops in San Antonio, Memphis and Indiana. They will return home to face New Orleans and Dallas before wrapping up the preseason slate in Detroit.
Here is a look at Atlanta's full preseason schedule for the 2012-13 season:
Sunday, Oct 7 Vs. Miami, 2 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct 10 @ San Antonio, 8:30 p.m.
Sunday, Oct 14 @ Memphis, 6 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct 16 @ Indiana, 7 p.m.
Thursday, Oct 18 Vs. New Orleans, 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, Oct 20 Vs. Dallas, 7 p.m.
Friday, Oct 26 @ Detroit, 7:30 p.m.
