Just a little caveat: I have always been for trading Josh Smith and never for once thought that his ill-advised jump shooting propensity was a product of the coaching "system." I always thought that Josh Smith is an immense talent that needs to get his own mind right so he can properly be the stat stuffing star he should be for this team.
With that said: how in the world does Tyson Chandler win Defensive Player of the Year over Josh?

I honestly don't know how Tyson leading in all of these offensive categories leads to a DPY honor but maybe some of you may help me out in this. I could say this is a conspiracy and the voters are market biased, but maybe I'm missing something. Like I said, I've always been a proponent of trading Josh because of his long history of negative plays on the court, but I don't understand how Josh was snubbed this time.
