Josh is now the Focal Point

Josh Smith is about to get what he has been wanting from this organization. Appreciation. I think all of this changed when Danny Ferry came in. Danny knows what Josh can do on the court. He knows how much of an enigma he is, but he knows that when his head is right, Josh can dominate the game and create wins for your team. At least on a temporary basis, this is now Josh's team.

Two years ago, when Joe was a free agent, Josh was coming off a season where he produced 12.6 wins (Dave Berri's Wins Produced Stat). He was tops on the team. I, along with many others including Kris and Jason said at that time that the Hawks should let Joe walk and build this team around Josh. Now, he will also be the focal point in recruiting Dwight Howard to Atlanta.
