Even though the Hawks took a step back this year, I believe they will be better than we think. From the moves of obtaining Lou Williams, Kyle Korver, Devin Harris, and John Jenkins this team will obviously be a perimeter team. Also, the Hawks will be more of a fast pace team which we should of been with Joe Johnson and Marvin Williams. With the Hawks being more of a perimeter team this year it will give Josh and Al more space to work down low. Hopefully it will force Josh Smith to be on the block more often where he is more efficient than standing on the three point line. Also with Joe Johnson off to Brooklyn, the Hawks instantly become less of a stagnant and isolation team. Which honestly makes them a better and more exciting team. Our defense will obviously suffer, but I believe we can outscore teams. I predict that Atlanta will be in the top of league in points per game. There is no doubt that the Hawks are a playoff team this year being in the Eastern Conference. Anything beyond the fifth seed will be success to me. Hopefully they light it up this year!
