This quote initially rubbed me the wrong way as I read through this article. It made me feel as if Atlanta was below Joe Johnson. Now of course JJ came here when Atlanta was in a bad place, and he was a part of numerous successful seasons. Were those seasons because of Joe Johnson? Was it Joe, or the emergence of Smith and Horford who made the Hawks a perennial playoff team? Will JJ be more successful in Brooklyn? The questions go on and on.
