Instant Reaction: Look out world! The Hawks are back in the playoffs once again!

Game Recap: It doesn't fully make up for last night's efforts, but it was a pretty nice win for the Hawks.

Led by Jeff Teague's 19 points and 10 assists and Ivan Johnson's career high 21 points and 8 rebounds, the Hawks got their revenge on the Toronto Raptors by blowing them out by 22 points.

The defense left much to be desired (especially in the first half), but you have to excuse them a bit because they are still relying on a hopeless Jason Collins and a smaller Ivan Johnson to protect the paint.

The main reason the Hawks won was because of how well they played offensively. We saw production from everyone that played (with the exception of Jason Collins of course). Teague scored 19. Ivan scored a career high 21 points. Joe Johnson scored 18 points in 13 shots. Josh Smith scored 15 points in 6-15 shooting .Marvin Williams scored 16 in 11 shots. Tracy McGrady scored 11 points in 7 shots. Vladimir Radmanovic, Kirk Hinrich, and Jannero Pargo combined for 9 points and 5 assists. It was just a nice team effort offensively. They really shared the ball (assisting on 28 out of the 39 field goals) and kept the Raptors on their heels for most of the game.

Overall, a solid win. It's not too outstanding since this was supposed to be the result last night, but I have no complaints about getting a "W", especially this late in the season.

Final Thoughts: Let me summon my inner Jim Mora Sr. *ahem* Playoffs?! Are you kidding me?! Playoffs?! I just hope we can get healthy!

It was a nice win for the Hawks, but you can only rejoice so much since Michael Cunningham tweeted that the injury bug bit another Hawks player. More specifically, another big man. Even more specifically, Zaza Pachulia.

I don't want to react too much with this news, as there's another thread/topic up here in Peachtree Hoops, but man....does this mean we're stuck with more of Jason Collins?!

Next Game: Well, the Hawks are done with all their road games of the regular season, so they'll travel back to Atlanta tonight and stay there for a while. Their first victim in the last 5 game home stand is the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night. The Pistons are the only non-winning team left in the Hawks' schedule.
