If Jannero Pargo has his way then he will be back on the court soon for the Atlanta Hawks. It was originally feared that Pargo could miss up to a month of action after having an appendectomy earlier this month. However, after a post surgery check up, Pargo is optimistic that he won't be out much longer.
Just left the Doc office for my post surgery check up and I will be back on the court in no time

Pargo's absence has left the Hawks shorthanded in the backcourt especially now that Kirk Hinrich has joined Jeff Teague in the starting lineup. Atlanta has made things work with Jerry Stackhouse and Tracy McGrady at times filling in while Hinrich slides over to the point guard position.
Pargo had been somewhat of a spark plug off the bench averaging 5.2 points and 1.4 assists in 39 games for the Hawks this season.
