This will be a good game to get back on the winning track.
They played harder in the last game, but that 2nd quarter defense was abysmal the Hawks couldn’t get even after. The Hawks will be better for the last couple of losses. The Hawks need to cut the turnovers and get the loose balls. Memphis and Philly capitalized big off of Hawks turnovers and they both beat the Hawks to the loose balls. We do need another frontcourt rebounding presence but we will have to make due until Sund makes that move.
--Convoluted offense uses all of the shot clock. And we wind up with Smith/Joe/Marvin jumpshots on our side, PnR basketball gets easy paint buckets on their side in 10 seconds

How about Teague's aggressiveness?
He seemed to take more control in the 2nd half of the Philly game.
So did Josh. Was Teague playing well when small forward thad young came in to play PF? Need to do it against starters.

On trying to get more frontcourt depth...
Does anyone think Semih Erden could help and do you think that Cleveland would part with him for a second round pick?
I think he could help a lot and I don’t know why Cleveland would want more or why they would keep him with them being able to choose from some very good big men in the upcoming draft.
Is it too early to declare this a must win?
I mean to consider us contenders, we can’t let a bad team come into Phillip’s and beat us

For all the good defense that Kirk played on Nash, he doesn’t get into the game in the second half until 2 minutes to go.
You also have to include management

Teague needs to force the issue at all times.
He has been deferring even since the road trip. As stated before the Hawks will only go as Teague goes. But that is just one issue. They haven’t played consistent (which isn’t the surprise) and they have not been defending they way that they were

I think I am about to change my mind about trading Kirk.
I thought Kirks intangibles would make much more of a difference in the backcourt. But Pargo has performed just as well as Kirk and we need help up front.
