Jason Collins Injury: Hawks Center Ruled Out For Saturday's Game Against Philadelphia

Hawks center Jason Collins will miss Saturday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers after suffering a sprained elbow in Thursday's loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.

With Al Horford already injured and now without Collins, Zaza Pachulia is now the only true center available on the Hawks roster. Rookie power forward Ivan Johnson has been getting time at the center position. At 6-foot-8 though he is undersized for the center position and might not be an ideal long-term solution.

Atlanta pursued Kenyon Martin to add depth to the frontcourt rotation but he ultimately decided to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.
