What Happens If The Hawks Stand Pat?
Other than the rest of the year = "WHY GOD WHYYYYY?"
My sources say Hinrich's 8 Million$ will be off the books, which should leave plenty of money to sign one of these gentlemen.

Do any one of these players really make the Hawks that much better?
Would any of these be an upgrade to what we have in Zaza Pachulia?
Kaman, Hawes, and Duncan are definitely the cream of the crop. Camby can still produce although it’s likely he retires after next season. Erden and Haddadi are project players that I’d like the Hawks to mold into their rotation. Kenyon Martin will also be available to us next year.
With that being said the Hawks will sign none of these players and will ultimately catch “Vet Min Fever” and sign Jamaal Magloire and the remains of Greg Oden’s knee cartilage

I'm looking for Jesus Christ on the list.
Hasheem Thabeet – best bet, playing time, size
Greg Stiemsma – smart kid, might get more money
Greg Oden – might get $$$ off potential/go to a team with strong medical staff???
But seriously “Any of them any good?” Tim Duncan?? He’s pretty good.

Oden won't get paid at all
the injuries are too much, and might force retirement before free agency.

ouch. 2nd time I'm reading that today.

It's a shame
in the rare moments he was healthy, he was a very good C, and showed game changing abilities defensively. Oh what might have been.

and I dont want people to think I have a hard on for Thabeet. Stiesma already looks real solid to me and he looks like he'll be harder to get than Thabeet.

No we know.
But your hard-on for Jon Leuer is well-noted.

So is his hard on for Thabeet
as he’s made who knows how many posts pining for him.

I now have heard Gearon and Co. don't want a center but who on the list would be the easiest center for us to attain?

if you have to ask....
anyway, Why in the world is shelden williams’ name listed? You definitely could have left him off along with a few others
Atlanta will win a championship....someday

We know you just copied and pasted. But you could have went back and took off a few obvious ones. Lets not start subliminal or outright name calling now.

why would i not list all of the upcoming free agents? we just signed eric dampier for god’s sake, i dont think any of these guys are beyond the realm of reason.
Stands to reason that Tim Duncan is likely not coming to ATL

Bubble bursting
The 8M coming off the cap doesn’t really help us go after free agents. We still have 60M committed to 6 players. That leaves only the MLE and since that is a 3 year commitment it might not get used as the following year Josh, Jeff, and Zaza will be free agents.
One person...
Who was left off this list is Roy Hibbert. Who probably isn’t realistic since he is will be coming off an all-star season and will probably be asking for more money than were willing to spend. Also, I would love to have Spencer Hawes even though he’s been injured plagued this year but he’s a 7 footer who has shown a lot of potential and at the right price, I would love to add him.
