Mike Scott returns to action Friday night with the Bakersfield Jam as they travel to Reno, Nevada for a Development League matchup with the Bighorns.
Game Date/Time: Friday, December 7, 10 p.m. ET
Location: Reno Events Center, Reno, Nevada
Mike Scott's stint with the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League continues Friday night when the Jam travel to Reno to take on the Bighorns. Scott and fellow rookie John Jenkins were assigned to the Jam last Saturday. Jenkins played in two games and was recalled by the Hawks. Scott sat out Tuesday's win over the L.A. D-Fenders because he was ill and will remain with the Jam for probably a couple more games.
Bakersfield is 4-1 and in first place in the D-League's western division. The Jam have benefitted from some NBA talent early on. In addition to Scott and Jenkins, Phoenix rookie Kendell Marshall is also on assignment and has played well during his stint.
Reno served as the Hawks' D-League affiliate last season and is 0-2 this season. The Bighorns are affiliated with Memphis, Sacramento and Utah. Reno has a trio of players that are on NBA assignment in Memphis' Tony Wroten, Sacramento's Tyler Honeycut and Utah's Kevin Murphy.
