Prior to Friday night's game, Larry Drew acknowledged Josh Smith's shot selection late in Wednesday's double overtime win over the Detroit Pistons. Drew said he spoke with Smith about it and they were moving on.
Jeff Teague notched a career-high with 27 points to help lead the Atlanta Hawks to a 102-94 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Atlanta has now won three straight and will finish off a back-to-back tomorrow night at home against the Indiana Pacers.
The Atlanta Hawks will catch a break Friday night as the Cavaliers will be without their starting center Anderson Varejao who will miss the game with a knee injury.
