Tracy McGrady Injury: Hawks Forward Has Bone Bruise In Left Knee
Tracy McGrady was noticeably absent from the Hawks lineup down the stretch in their 76-74 loss to the Chicago Bulls Tuesday night. McGrady was limited to just two points in just over 15 minutes of action due to a bone bruise on his left knee.
Tracy McGrady said he has a bone bruise on left knee. "We will see how it feels over the next couple days."

McGrady has played well off the bench this season and has added a veteran presence at crunch time when paired with the Hawks starting unit. McGrady scored 16 points in Monday's victory over the Miami Heat and the Hawks will be hard pressed to replace McGrady if he is sidelined for any length of time.
Atlanta is off on Wednesday but then begins a stretch of three games in three days starting on Thursday with a rematch with the Heat. Atlanta then travels to Charlotte on Friday before returning home on Saturday to take on the Bulls.

salt on the wound. FNCK
* Hawks trade {Al Horford + protected 2nd rounder} for {Perimeter F Jon Leuer and C Andrew Bogut}
* Jeff Teague * Joe Johnson* Jon Leuer * Josh Smith * Andrew Bogut *
Hopefully it won't hamper him for a long period
One of the hardest things for the players this season is going to be getting over niggling injuries with the minimal rest and treatment time between games. available due to the schedule.
Will making it back to the Eastern Conference Semis give Larry Drew another year at the helm?
He could be out just 4 days and end up missing three games
That’s rough.
Braves will be fine. I'm not worried.

We need to be managing him all year
he shouldn’t play 3 in 4 anyway. Maybe every other night, with a rare back to back.

I've been calling for more Marvin Williams at the expense of Willie Green
So yes, I’ve been quite careful in wishing, and I am not likely to get it soon enough.
Braves will be fine. I'm not worried.

I think the Hawks should be over cautious w/ T-Mac
We have seen what he can do for us in crunch time. Id rather save that for the post season. No need to rush. Plus this ifs an opportunity to build up Marvins trade value
lol
im just thinking of a second unit of tmac, zaza, kirk, vlad rad, (insert warm body). That group on the floor is probably better than some crappy teams starting lineup

If your warm body is Willie Green
He drags down the collective effectiveness quite thorougly.
Braves will be fine. I'm not worried.

THIS!!!
though I’m cool with not trading Marvin at this juncture – if he can be a difference maker like this. Keep him, but only if Kirk is traded, so it’s gotta be one or the other and you have to entertain giving some of tha tmoney to T-Mc for future years if you do make that move.
