Former Atlanta Hawks second-round pick Keith Benson has landed with the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA Development League. The Skyforce acquired Benson from the available player pool and waived Anthony Mason Jr to make room on the active roster. He is expected to be in uniform for Friday night's game against the Erie Bayhawks which tips off at 7pm ET.

Benson joins Charles Garcia who was also an Atlanta Hawks training camp participant this season. Sioux Falls currently holds the NBA D-League's worst record and is dead last in the Eastern Conference with a 7-17 record.

Benson was one of the final cuts made by the Atlanta Hawks during training camp when the Hawks elected to keep former D-League star Ivan Johnson.
