Well to be honest we could take the game if we play to our strengths and play tough. With Duncan's decline and saving his minutes San Antonio is playing new lineups ie Danny Green at point guard.
It might take a lot of starter minutes to outtalent them idk I just Hope we can stay healthy and get out of Texas with a W!

And they listed 3 key bench players for us. And they were T-Mac, Jason Collins, and Jerry Stackhouse. I literally laughed out loud.

Kirk Hinrich deserves a mention, since he should be back tonight. Vlad Radmanovich has been a big part of the bench play this season, so have Ivan Johnson and Willie Green (Yes, Willie Green).
I can almost understand Jason Collins, since, stupidly, he’s started a few games and played like 20 minutes at times, but Jerry Stackhouse? Even a cursory glance at the stats should tell you that he only gets in during blowouts.

Im guessing the refs got together and said we’ll call this game fairly once its out of reach, until then, good luck hawks. Love taps by the hawks led to fouls, rugby style take downs by the spurs probably wouldn’t have been called.
So much bad with this game. Larry drew obviously has no clue when to call a timeout..for the record ld its before a team makes a run, not after.
Hawks definitely tried playing like the spurs instead of against them, bonner would hit a three and you could just tell the while team wanted to do the same thing.
Nothing good in this game except for the play of teague and hinrich, great energy from both. Everyone else must have forgot that this game was on the schedule.
Hands down this is the worst hawks game from both ends of the court ive seen in a while. Too much settling. Spurs have figured it out, leave everyone except joe open for the j outside of 20 ft and they will take the bait. Not fun to watch this one, im glad the hawks are winning thee games they should, but id really like to see them win these games. Get em next time right?

Really not liking Hinrich. Near 6'4 but doesn't post up or defend particularly well. We got Willie Green and Pargo to do what he does. man... gonna be a long road trip.

This was his first game off an injury.
No, he’s not going to post up much, if at all. He’s mainly a perimeter shooter, and a solid one at that. How about giving him a couple of games before you decide he’s no better than Pargo and Green, huh?
A couple of games or a couple of losses. Larry Drew's substitutions were badly thought out and ruined chemistry.
And when’s he going to bench Marvin for Vlad?

Marvin for Vlad has nothing to do with you not liking Kirk
The bench was pretty bad last night. They were also playing against a very good team, with a very good bench. The game basically comes down to their bench killing ours.
I’m amused how much blame for the bench play you are placing on Kirk, how much you are acting like game 1 back from injury is indicative of overall ability, how much you act like playing poorly in 1 game against the Spurs is indicative of the team’s overall play, and how fewer than 7 minutes per half is too much PT.
Kirk is like 2nd team all-NBA on defense.
So, yes, he is a fantastic defender.
