If we had Dwight ready to come back as a free agent...

or another elite free agent or two ready to come here, that makes sense. But without an elite superstar, why? Losing Joe, sure, I can agree with getting that contract out for an expiring deal. But not Smith.

That is one of the worst trade proposals I have ever seen.

Let’s improve the Celtics while we make the Hawks blow on a chance that Howard would sign with us……not likely. I think the only chance the Hawks have of getting Howard is if they get new ownership and get rid of Horford or Josh to free up some money.
