Atlanta what's up?
The Bulls played back-to-back yet beat you big-time!
It should've been the other way around as the Bulls would've been tired & you played in your turf.
It was only 2-3 years ago when you guys were actually not only better than Chicago but more impressively, was an up & coming team even challenging Boston for the East.
Now, that promise is gone with Joe's massive contract still yours till 2016.
There's only 1 thing left to do to improve your team & that is: start all-over again while it's still early.
Of course, no one will take on Joe's massive contract but if you add Big Al Horford...
...then there will be takers!
Sure, it's ridiculous & ultimately sad to give-up Al but what other ways can you get rid of Joe?
No one will take Joe when paired-up with any of your players not named Horford...
...but you put yourself in this very unfortunate situation by signing him that ridiculously huge contract when you could've simply let Joe walk-away & see if any team will sign him.
Given the impending lock-out, you really should've just let him walk-away as then you would've had lots of space to sign other talented but lesser expensive players, or wait till post lock-out to rebuild after Joe.
With young & talented big Al, it would've not been dififcult at all to rebuild have you let Joe walk away.
But now, pairing-up Al with Joe is your only way to get rid of Joe & start all-over again.
Perhaps an offer with NY in the not-so-distant future might work?
They have a very similar problem to yours & so, maybe swapping players with them might be beneficial for both teams.
If not NY, how about NJ who's also desperate for All-Star players?
For sure, pairing Al with Joe will enable you to get rid of Joe's massive contract, it's seemingly the only way to do so.
