Which team do you think would pose the most problems for the Hawks in the playoffs?

With the playoffs approaching (not really, but still) , I'm curious to know what other Hawks fans think would be our best and worst matchups in the playoffs.

I'm starting to think homecourt advantage won't be as important as it has been in previous seasons considering the Hawks worse home record and improved road record this year. I think the actual team we face will be more important. What do you think would be our best and worst matchups in the East?

I'm not as confident as I used to be against Boston with the way we've played against them this year. Hopefully the long season will wear down their older players a bit by the time the playoffs come.

I think we have a better chance against this new Orlando team than we have in the past, but we've only played them once since they changed their roster and it was literally their first game together. At the same time, I'm glad to know that we have a strategy against them which has been successful for the most part this season.

We seem to handle the Knicks pretty well with their uptempo/no defense style so I don't think they pose much of a problem, but they can be tough to keep up with when all of their shots are going in.

I know we haven't played Chicago yet, but they worry me (Rose worries me more than anybody on that team), and they know how to finish games. I think Horford will own Noah inside. Horford seems to play with a lot of heart like he has something to prove against former college teammates and players he went up against in college. The Boozer/Smith matchup should be interesting too. Or maybe those won't even be the matchups. Do you think the Hawks would be better off going with their big lineup against the Bulls? And how would you try to contain Rose? I think our only chance of staying with Rose is putting Teague on him and I don't know if he's ready for that.

I think if anyone can upset the Heat, it would be the Hawks. I like the way we match up against them, and they have their own issues at PG and C.

It's too soon to tell who'll take the 6, 7 & 8 seeds because they all have terrible records and most of the teams at the bottom can still sneak into the playoffs depending on how they finish the season and what happens between now and the trade deadline. Even though I won't mention them, it seems like most of those teams have shown that they're capable of beating us so I wouldn't sleep on any of them either.

Which teams do you think we match up well against? Which teams do you think will be tough for us to beat, and as far as matchups and lineups are concerned, how would you approach a 7 game series against them?
