Don’t like Shaq as a starter. Don’t like Josh Smith getting traded unless we are getting Chris Paul back. Why no talk of Marvin Williams and Bibby possibly being shopped to Golden State? Finally, it would be a huge loss losing Josh Childress and getting nothing in return. If its only Javal McGee and whatever to make the money work that’s great. I just don’t see us letting the guy walk for nothing, you have a while to try and figure out how to get under the luxury threshold, the trades that the Hornets made during season were for that reason, we can do that at some point in season if things aren’t working. I don’t see the Hawks letting Childress walk with nothing in return

and James would be better than the Hawks and Wade, Bosh, and J Chillz could be just as good if Chillz comes back to the league and has a Brandon Jennings type year when it comes to applying what he may have learned. I really dont wanna see the guy burning us like that

Boozer more solid than Josh on most nights. Rose better than any PG we can put out there. Noah and Al are wash. Deng better than Marvin. Bulls look like they may have passed or atleast joined the Hawks as currently constructed. If the Heat can get a C with MLE even without Lebron they will join the Hawks also. It is a dangerous thing to say around these parts because there appears to be a common consensus that out of every draftee on the team the oldest and most seasoned pro still has the most potential. Eventually we have to come to terms with the fact that he has reached or is quite near his potential and he lacks the tools to put it all together. A coach would really help, but this is what I was trying to get at earlier in another post. Eventually it is going to go from talking about his potential to saying how if he could only put it all together he would be near unstoppable and that conversation will last until he is retired. He was drafted a year after Mo Evans and I don’t hear anyone in this space talking about Mo just tapping out of his potential (yes i know he is younger)

You know who else is younger Al horford and Marvin Williams and both of those two YOUNG MEN have made great strides in improving a part of their game in the offseason.

Josh Smith has the same issues he had FOUR years ago he has trouble focusing, he can’t dribble, he can’t shoot, and he has no idea what he can and cannot do.
