GAME THREAD: Summer League 2010 - Game 4 - D-League Select vs Atlanta Hawks

Tonight's Game vs D-League Select - Tip Off 10:30 ET

NBA Summer League Broadband

The Hawks got their first victory of the Summer League Season Thursday night over Milwaukee 83-60. As a team they played a lot better defense and took care of the ball all the while attacking the basket and getting to the free throw line.

Tonight's game against the D-League Select team is yet another chance for some of the unsigned players to make an impression and perhaps earn a training camp invite. Hopefully Pape Sy can make a return from a sore Achilles that has kept him out of action the last two games.

Richard Hendrix has impressed with his low post positioning and we will be watching to see if he can use that same positioning to grab some rebounds. As always we will take a keen interest in how Jordan Crawford and Jeff Teague perform.

 Summer League Recaps

July 12th Grizzlies 89 Hawks 85

July 14th Spurs 89 Hawks 84

July 15th Hawks 83 Bucks 60

July 17th D-League Select vs Hawks 10:30 ET

July 18th Hawks vs Timberwolves 6:30 ET

Some of you guys that have watched all of these Summer League Games

What do you think the chances of Richard Hendrix getting invited to training camp and perhaps even getting one of the last spots on the roster are?

Augustine is a smart player

Seems to make the most of what little athleticism he has

Didn't look like it, did it?

Surprising, but I guess they drew the line at (2) of those guys off that team. Anderson Hunt is probably upset, too.

Lost a lot of close ones

Had a lead late in two games I know but couldn’t hold on. Russell Robinson had a good game the other night

You should read how I thought he did in the workout that got me banned

It’s still on DraftExpress from 04—thought he was another Barry brother.

Would like to see each NBA Team have its own D-League Affiliate that they operated.

I agree big time. Of course getting a cash strapped ownership group to sign off on that might be harder to get around.
