Game Preview;
Well, I have made the return trip to Charlotte. I apologize in advance for this loss. I am an 0-2 on this little journey the last two seasons. It has made me cry. It has cost me hundreds in thereapy. Last year ended with me screaming at Al Horford that the season was going down the drain. Why Al Horford? Because Josh Smith was not allowed to play in the second half of that game after yelling at Mike Woodson. The Queen City, where dreams are destroyed. If you have no interest in this game, root for sanity.
On that note, I hope we win. With Joe Johnson out, I hope we see another Marvin Williams free throw machine. I hope you see me on TV. I will be in the Al Horford jersey berating the refs for the call that was probably made correctly.
Go Hawks!

Interesting Game to see
Hawks without JJ, at Bobcats will be tough. Even though, I sense Bobcats are having a crisis of confidence, so who knows may be we can catch them at the right time.
I look for Marvin to try and be more agressive. And for rookie to get more minutes. As always pay attention to their point guard who is a free agent next year. Go Hawks
I don't have a good feeling about this game
I don’t know, the 3 seed race just seems to be shifting back into Boston’s favor—not that I’d WANT them to get the 3 seed or anything. But think about this: a loss today and tomorrow coupled with a Boston win tomorrow would mean that the Celtics take a half a game lead over us. Hopefully that won’t happen as the Hawks haven’t posted back to back losses in over a month.
Go Hawks!
The quest for 50
Does a rather arbitrary win number dictate success for the Hawks this season? Not really-that will come to the playoffs. Of course, before the season starts, that 50 win mark looks like a barrier separating the good teams from the mediocre. So it’s some kind of status symbol. Here’s hoping they get it tonight.
Time for rookie to MAN UP
Never good to lose leadership of Bibster, but here is the chance for rookie. This is the time. This is the game
Very interesting question
very interesting…. How about Mo and rookie? We need Jamal off the bench
by ATLpaul on Apr 6, 2010 6:23 PM EDT up reply actions 1 recs
We don't need Jamal off the bench, necessarily
I mean, he’d still get 35 minutes…so what’s the point in benching him for the first 5 minutes?
Also from Twitter...
Steve Holman reads Hawksquawk!
@RealVoiceofHawk: Hawks without Joe and the Bibbster tonight. All the Teague boosters get their wish.
OMG no bibster
Time for al and josh to step up
IF YOU CANT ACCEPT LOSING, YOU CANT WIN.

Teague needs to shoot
If it’s a choice between his jumper and Josh’s jumper, I assume without looking at numbers, its at worse a push. He’s gotta shoot. I will not be able to watch the rest of the game, got a birthday party to attend. have fun guys! go Hawks!
@cocoqt81
I don't want to see Mario West bringing up the ball ever
It’s probably for the best I won’t be able to watch this whole game live. Okay I’m gone now for real.
@cocoqt81
The only Chance
The only chance we have at winning is for Woody to find that magic water from space jam and give it to the players
So throwed that Randy Moss jumpin up couldn't even catch it
Oh no I sound like coach woodson!
When the hawks start playing defense and rebound we will win this game

you guys are missing your bes player thats how
and i was wondering what you guys think about a possible magic vs. hawks second round match up
Howard is a beast
We will have to shoot FG% at 50% to win games. Score in the 90’s. Hard to do
by RivBoatGambler on Apr 6, 2010 8:03 PM EDT up reply actions
i think you guys match up better against teams like boston because of you athleticism….
by doublettoluca on Apr 6, 2010 8:04 PM EDT up reply actions
we won't beat you guys
if we play this way in the playoffs, that’s for sure
The future is here...in the form of Jason Heyward.
i actually think you can beat the cavs you guys just have to let lebron get his points but shut down the other 4 players, the cavs are a good REGULAR season team but not a good playoff team because there not a half court team….
No offense but I've said it many times on here that I wish Charlotte would fall to 8 so y'all could sniper them off in the first round
Bet it hit the rim!
i think miami is the team the magic really do not wanna see because they match up well against us and they are hot right now… and i hope you guys get the bucks cause sadly they are done after bogut went down
by doublettoluca on Apr 6, 2010 8:11 PM EDT up reply actions
instead of coming back after halftime, just head straight to the bus
because Tyson Chandler is not that talented
Bet it hit the rim!
They need to learn how to score
from the Braves.
The future is the present. Jason Heyward has arrived.
Ir Carlos Zambrano was playing PG for the Bobcats
it might be easier ;)

I suggest that next time the Hawks play in Charlotte
We need to buy up all the tickets to prevent Drew from attending. He’s clearly the opposite of a good luck charm.
I think Drew was just on TV there
Didn’t get a good look since I’m folding some laundry at the moment.
Comments have dried up
But I hope people are still watching, because the Hawks are making a fairly solid comeback bid.
It’s sad that they’ve nearly scored as much in the third quarter as they did in the first half.
Suggestions accepted for random epiphanies
“Hey, that’s Boris Diaw trying to play defense!”
“Hey, Tyson Chandler still has no knees!”
It's a shame that McCann had to follow that up, because he squared up on one that everyone would have, otherwise, been talking about.
he's tenth on the
hitracker list, at 106.1 mph. Still pretty good
now, back to basketball…
The future is the present. Jason Heyward has arrived.
Like the way Joe Smith is playing
Getting his hands on some balls, and not afraid to give away fouls to prevent easy baskets. If he’d been like this all year, I might actually be advocating for more playing time for him.
not that we had
much chance to say it this season
The future is the present. Jason Heyward has arrived.
If the first quarter hadn't happened...
The Hawks are up by 9. Just remember later when there’s a quiz about the Hawks coming out slow.
the typical hawks
first and fourth quarters got switched around today.
The future is the present. Jason Heyward has arrived.
hope they dont take those guys lightly
they gave us a little trouble at our house last game

a headless snake just isn't very frightening
good fight at the end though
The future is the present. Jason Heyward has arrived.
