That's awesome

And that is such a crappy crappy story. So sad and unfair.

Agreed on all fronts...

and it really seems like Smooth has made some big strides this year as far as maturity, growing up and such. He just seems like a different person. Not that he was bad before, but he just seems different now, more of a man.

After shooting a month’s worth of jump shots in one game he needed to do something nice.

But seriously, this is a very stand up thing to do.

I am so moved.

You can tell he’s a real sweetheart. All those jump shots from last night….consider them forgotten. I fret so often about this teams’ progress but in the grand scheme of things, it really doensn’t measure up to what’s happening in the real world. Kudos to you, Smoove!!

Bet it hit the rim!

Sad story.

I know a lot of Duke football players that are so glad to be out of their crappy situations back home and on scholarship at a good university. He was so close to getting a big break.

Nice move by Josh—hope he continues to be involved in the Atlanta community as a positive role model.

So touching.

I am deeply moved by Josh Smith’s act of kindness and compassion to this family. Just wonderful to read about.

Stuff like this shows how small our games our in the context of life

Well done Smoove, we love you as a player and as a person. Great to see the help in times of hurt for a family that lost a loved one
