Hawks Injury Report: None.
Knicks Injury Report: Eddy Curry is out. JR Giddens is out. Also of note, who is JR Giddens. Tracy McGrady's demise are great under exaggerated. He may play tonight to prove it. But he may not.
Blogging With the Enemy: One of my favorites. Posting and Toasting.
Predicted bane of the Hawks existence: I don't know. Galinari? Maybe. Eddie House? Why not. Shoot even Duhon has a chance. But definitely not McGrady.
Game Preview
The Hawks have lost four of the last five to the Knicks. How bad is that? The Knicks have lost one of the last one to the Nets in a blowout. That bad.
I mean what can you say about this game? We should win? Yes. Someone on the Knicks will inexplicably go bananas offensively? Of course. Only the Hawks can stop Al Horford from getting 20 and 10? Naturally.
I don't know what else to say. Have I mentioned I love Madison Square Garden? Because I do. Ok seriously, one interesting subplot is the Joe Johnson tryout for second option. Will Joe come out gunning? Are Knicks fans so caught up in summer 2010 that they will cheer their fourth choice to succeed against their own team? Are we all hoping Gus Johnson calls this game? Have there every been so many questions for what should be an obvious win?
But seriously Hawks, end this with eight minutes to go in the third quarter please. My DVR is almost full. Thank you.
Go Hawks!

we can get this win
I hope. Hawks need to find their happy place and inhibit it. Please play good, inspired, four-game-win-streak-and-beyond basketball.
The future has come...in the form of Jason Heyward.
c'mon cut the dude slack. He's actually trying to change his game
looking to pass first. Not having any knees left probably has something to do with that
Please Hawks
Please don’t take them lightly. For the love of Christ they had beaten us twice at home, and handed Nate Robinson some of his trade value in one game.
Go Hawks.

The things I'm least looking forward to from this game
1. Eddie House’s personal pep rally
2. The zone defense D’Antoni is likely to throw at us.
Knick fan here from Posting and Toasting
My boys actually lost to the Nets twice this year.
byw I was at the epic comeback featuring Nate a Phillips. Too bad he stayed in our conference!
why does this game scare me?
Go hawks!

Smoove's jumpers appear to be in slow motion
1. Catch ball
2. Bend knees
3. Release ball at the wrist
4. Pray it goes in
5. Scream, “Bet it hit the rim!”
no dominique!
no josh smith jump shot is a rhythm jump shot. NONE!

He looks so scared to mess up.
And I thank Woody for that. Screws with the kid’s head too much.
I hate when I have to say negative things.
Im about to OD

Marvin should not be trying to dribble penetrate, He should be getting the ball in position to do something, our pass it back out.
marv keeps looking for fouls
he needs to drive and shoot or shot. all this pump fake, stuttering is driving me crazy.
teague drives
and nique says what i just said. i love pretending like i know what i am talking about.
we were doing so well attacking the basket

D’Antoni looks like a PE coach with an expensive haircut.

ha
unbelievable. smoove has a legit right to complain
by Hawksgirl on Mar 8, 2010 8:40 PM EST via mobile reply actions
josh smith and al horford have 19 shots already
this is not looking good for my formula of feed the bigs the ball. apparently defense plays a serious component in this thing called basketball.
Jamal and bibby 1-8 - you want them shooting? They have earned their time by D?
by RivBoatGambler on Mar 8, 2010 8:42 PM EST up reply actions
Stinger talked to Kevin Willis about Horf?
Hawks should hire Willis as a strength and conditioning coach.
gotta run more in the second half to legitimately pull away

Jama'ls older brother and Curry the youngest of all.
by RivBoatGambler on Mar 8, 2010 8:52 PM EST up reply actions
Noooooooo
Jamal is doable…..Stinger not even for Indecent Proposal kind of money. Lol
Bet it hit the rim!
Speaking of the Stinger
I wish they would do away with the graphics during his 3 for Stinger. He sounds really awkward trying to ad lib
Bet it hit the rim!
bless his heart

Smoove is weird...if he's hitting his jumper, he's missing his FT
If he’s missing his jumper, he’s making his FT’s
Bet it hit the rim!
its a jacque vaughn type of slump

I love it when...
dominique mentions a team’s name, he never puts “the” in front of it

jj trying to impress
Spinning away from contact……..wait nevamind he does that all the time
by Hawksgirl on Mar 8, 2010 9:02 PM EST via mobile reply actions
We need a catch-and-shoot Rip Hamilton type guy against this zone
Watching Bobby Cox pick boogers since 1995
0-9 from three
it doesn’t matter what defense they play if they can just pack it inside we have no chance
Craw is very off
Josh can’t hit a ft
by Hawksgirl on Mar 8, 2010 9:10 PM EST via mobile reply actions
Crawford three feet inside the arch
and dominique is calling for the three
Where in the world in Mike Bibby?
He’s been invisible since the Golden State game. And i mean utterly invisible-neer know he’s there on offense, and he’s not making any shots.
Bad shot
but he made it. I mean…why does he stand still for 5 seconds without even dribble when he catches the ball?
we finally start hitting shots
but stop playing defense
Can I just say
If Josh had dunked that, I would have gone apes**t. That was almost filthy
OMG. so jj looks pissed now
Lets channel that anger jj!

luckily New York's out of the playoffs
Although who knows, they’ll probably find a way to get upset in the 1st round anyway
an entry pass to Horford!?
And good things happened!? Who’d a thunk?
I'm not watching Hawks basketball in Nov and Dec
The true Hawks show who they really are after the new year
wow
they are nailing 3s tonight only against the Hawks i bet the next game they dont make any at all
what?
Is Woody high or something? Does he know he just subbed in Marvin?
i hope

JC did all he could do on that last play
The basketball gods were with Knicks tonight. They deserved to win this game.
Bet it hit the rim!
I'm usually with you on the guard bashing
but for the last couple of games, Smoove has made some boneheaded plays down the stretch
Bet it hit the rim!
oh well
not that its joe johnsons fault but he should have made that free throw…or maybe the game shouldnt have even been that close to begin with. damn it
Woody
Woody is the former slam dunk contest winner who just got blocked by a smaller guy at the rim to lose this game. Woody did it. It was all his fault

This team
Is a fraud and could easily lost to the Bucks in the 1st round
you were just waiting for the right time to heap insults on the hawks
you are so predictable.
Woody's comments:
Gotta give the knicks a lot of credit.
We couldn’t get any stops.
Bet it hit the rim!
if we dont win these next four games....

Marvin was -6, Bibby was +2
My world doesn’t make sense
ok, Marvin being -6 isn't so suprising
It’s Bibby having the best +/- on the team going 0/4 with 1 assist and 1 turnover while simultaneously being worthless on defense
gotta leave this behind
and focus on the next game. go hawks!
hawksdawg
please make my game review with EXTRA seething, hatred, with a glass of Oh Sh**

boy everyone was just about to give Josh the keys to the city
“Now look at you!” (Scarface) But for real does Josh know who he is? As a player? The Hawks have to work on defending the three and rebounding. amonst other things
Atlanta will win a championship....someday
