And that's why I love the NBA....

How great was that game? No, seriously tell me. Because I am too busy making out with my Al Horford jersey.

Go Hawks!

Good win Hawks

Marvin showed up, now let’s see how many games it takes him before he re-appears agains

Pretty sure

The Hawks officially clinched a playoff berth with this win. In case anyone was wondering about that.

Some nights all dreams come true

Tonight the Hawks showed the promise that can become reality. They showed that every piece they have, brings so much value. They showed they are borderline a GREAT team. They played a great game, against a legend, a hall of famer named Duncan, with a true Lancelot Ginobli fighting by his side. Let me just say, I feel sorry for whatever team has to face off against this old smart wise team in the playoffs.

As for the Hawks, what can you say about Marvin’s performance. He washed away the pain and horror of that night in Toronto. Showing the promise of a young stud of a player, with none of the kid left in him. A man within men. That is the Marvin that will make the Hawks the team they can be.

And how about Lion? What can you say about that performance. I simply gave up hope near the end when Hawks were down by 4. I lost faith that we could come back. But Lion did not believe in sad endings. He was going to fight to the bitter end. And he single handedly brought us back and won the game for us in the over time. I tip my hat to him, and his spirit. To one with a never die attitude.

And to the Hawks, for the types of people and team they are. The sky is the limit. I fear the team that gets in their way if this is what is to come of them….

Best wins of the season

This.
That Jamal buzzer beater against Phoenix.
The Josh Smith buzzer against Houston from way back in November.
That last game in Boston where the technicals turned the entire game around JJ scored 36.
The win in Utah to break a 17 year drought.
The win against Portland all the way back in November.

Lots of good wins this year.

Oh

And dropped 146 on Toronto was good also.

I'll wager that win in Houston too

Big Bibster shots then.

But this one is good. Our team is a lot of fun.

That win against Boston.

Maybe laying the wood to Utah early in the year, too.

I think Al earns special commendation on this one.

His best game of the year? Playing the Spurs, having to guard every dame guy they got in this crazy switch stuff, having to rebounds and score against Duncan.

At one point toward the end Hubie, who does love him some Jamal, outlined why Jamal made the Hawks so much better: “You can’t just sit on Joe Johnson anymore.” Why, oh why, don’t people like Hubie point out just how much better Al is this year than last year? ’Cause he damn sure is, and it sure has made a huge impact on this team.

Whoa, a lot of Horford man love

You know I saw only the last 6 minutes and it was all scrap all effort and all grit that the every hawks player put in that pulled this game right out of the Spurs hands. I think the hawks smell blood in the win column.

Horford was insane tonight.

I love when he gets all fired up. Clutch jumpers, clutch FTs. EIGHTEEN rebounds, half of which were offensive. Just an absolute gem of a game.

For a couple of months now I want Al to use his jumper more.

This is how we could move Howard and Shaq out of the paint. Al to his credit has made this a viable option.

then the rest of the guys have to crash if he misses

hell, crash anyway
