Hey guys whatsup this bballplayer123, i hear alot people say that Al Horford is undersized for a center, so i was thinking maybe he needs to workout in the gym next summer, he will build up more strength and can be more pyhsical, he can match up against other good centers in the NBA, reply to me so i can read your comments, i'm pretty new to this so i hope i get some comments about Al

When they say he’s undersized, they mean that he’s shorter than most NBA centers. They don’t mean that he’s thinner or weaker than most centers. I believe Horford is good where he’s at right now. He will continue to develop and will most likely be our center for many years to come.

I can only think of three or four centers in this league that I’d rather have instead of Horford, and all of them are untouchable and may not even have as much heart as Al does.

What Horford needs to do this summer is to keep up what he’s been doing all his career. Perhaps if I could improve one thing in his game it would be his consistency on offense – whether it be his jumper or his post game. But in that sense it’s hard to tell where Horford really is in his development in that aspect because the Hawks have rarely fed him the ball inside until recently.

I agree

Our lion has lots of heart and will be our center for a while. and al is already big(lol) but he has a way to go so he can dominate.

it's not the size of the player in the game

it’s the size of the game in the player and Horford has a huge game in him

part of his value

is His undersizing. I think he’s athletic enough and strong enough to guard centers, although it is pretty tough for him, but on offense he uses his quickness and his mid range jumper that has given me things to hope for. he’s fine where he is, although i would love to see him play as a PF to see how he would fare. Plus Josh will always be there to help him out.
