Around SBN: Will Rhymes 'Fine' After Being Hit By Pitch And Fainting

36 Hours with the Hawks

I'm a Lakers fan and I loved this, so I can't imagine how awesome this must be for a Hawks fan to read.

Lang Whitaker of Slamonline gets all access to the Hawks and shares his experience:

http://www.slamonline.com/online/blogs/the-links/2010/01/links-embedded-with-the-atlanta-hawks/

Read through and you will get a taste of what it's like to be part of an NBA team, including the preparation, the grinding travel, and all the minutiae of being a professional player.

While we're here sitting at the computer, these guys are hopping from city to city, trying to grab some rest and get ready for the next game day in and day out.

A must read for any true fan of NBA basketball.

DEFENSE, the shit works!

I was rolling on the floor laughing after reading it in my Slam Magazine last week. Yes it is an awesome read. It seems like the Slam Magazine comes like every 2 or 3 months. Well this particular issue was worth the wait. Good looking out.

Wow

great piece. It kinda reminds me of travel days with my college football team when I was filming game. And also choral trips. It’s just NBA players get paid a lot more

Atlanta will win a championship....someday
