Favorite Lineup/Subs
Sort of like rosterbating, but only using our roster. We all think we could do this better than woody anyway; might as well make it public:
Starting lineup/total min per game:
PG: Bibby/27
SG: Joe/37
SF: Josh/35
PF: Al/35
C: Za Za/28
Subs/total min per game:
SG/SF: Crawford/25
PG: Teague/13
F: Marvin/26
C: Joe Smith/14
I understand it won't be the same for every game, based on the flow, score, off nights, random garbage time, etc, but this is how I would try to run it in general. I went with a nine man rotation which would screw over Maurice evans and super Mario should he return. The total should be 240 min (5 positions*48 min)
Few Points:
1. I'm probably a dumbass.
2. This represents a sizable jump for Za Za in both role and minutes and a change that I think makes Al and Josh more effective. I think playing Al at the four better suits his skillset and style. I think playing Josh at the three better suits his help defense style and gets him out on the break a little easier by having him guard more "perimeter" players. If you count up the minutes I still have Josh and AL playing the 4/5 about 6 min a game.
3. I dropped bibby's minutes because I worry about his age, not his ability. Teague would play point all 13 of his minutes and Joe would play the other 8.
4. In order to make this rotation work Marvin would have to split time at the 3/4 and Jamal would have to spend about 6 min at the 3 making a "small" lineup.
This thing ended up longer than I thought it would and if you really want to make it fun, start figuring out the FGA per game for each player.

differences...
i’d give less minutes to Zaza, Josh Smith and Joe Johnson, and give about 20 per to Mo Evans.
Starting—Bibby (28), Johnson (32), Williams (29), Josh Smith (30), Horford (32) main bench—Joe Smith (16), Mo Evans (16), Jamal Crawford (28), Zaza (18), Teague (11)
So yes, Woody really needs to learn to use his bench.
one line up i would love to see
is teague, crawford, marvin, josh, horford and with a little 8 seconds or less offense.
change depending on who we play
Why don’t coaches change the line up depending on who the team is playing. Why does that starter have to be the starter all season. New Orleans and Orlando have different styles of play so we need to give more minutes to one guy over another. But I would start most often:
Bibby, Joe, Marvin, Josh, Horford
bench :
Teague, Crawford, Evans, Joe Smith, Pachulia
Reserves; West, Morris, Siler, etc
Consider this...
I know this is really far fetched, but how about Marvin Williams playing half the game at center, and putting Zaza in only the second half. That would eliminate his fouls and you can leave him in there hacking.

i'd start crawford cus i think bibby sucks.
but i’d like to bring crawford off the bench. so, its a tight spot, i guess.
more or less i’d go:
bibby
joe johnson
josh smith
horford
pachulia
crawford and williams replacing zaza and bibby as quickly as possible. mo evans giving joe johnson a breather later on. i dunno about teague, so i cant say. joe smith should get 20-25 minutes a night without question.
