What do you think the numbers work out to?

But, what he said...
I thought Sekou just blogged like two days ago that they were not close and this would go well into August…

i go to sekou for a lot of things
but breaking news is not always one of them.
last year sekolu had it as all quiet with josh smith and then two minutes later memphis had an offer sheet for him.
that being said, this is far from a signed contract, and i have a man crush on sekou.

I don't really trust Sekou much.
He has gone from “all business” to “mostly flash” over the past year or so.

Hmmmmmmm
Well someone is wrong. Is it Sekou or is it the “source”

I kinda wanted Marvin
to just sign the qualifying offer so then the Hawks would have to be creative. I’m bored with this team guys and the season hasn’t even started. I want to be convinced that we are going to take a real leap forward and bringing back the same team more or less is not convincing me that we will.

agree on the excitement side of things
resigning the same players is not exciting and i neither watched golden state or the knicks last year so Jamal Crawford is a bit of a wait and see.
still, i am not necessarily upset with any of the moves either. so i am a bit perplexed with my emotions.

ok i am going 5 years (with some kind of option on that fifth year)
and 35 million.

and by going
i kind of mean hoping.
wishing would be 5 years 30 million.

Right now it says 5 years 40 million, which isn’t too bad if Williams makes as progress in his next two years as he did in his first two.

the AJC is saying 5 years at 40 million
If true it’s too long and to much for a glue guy

Ariza got 5 years, $33 million
And he only scored 8.9ppg. So for Marvin, I think this seems right.

I guess, I was hoping for something closer to 35 million
But now I’m hoping that we front loaded all these contracts so we can get more guys next year and beyond.

Had he signed a QO, he'd have cost a lot more.
Sund did well to lock him up at a reasonable price.
