Trade for Al Jefferson?
As a Wolves fan, I'm trying to figure out a trade that helps balance out the roster - but is also feasible to the fans on another team. I'm thinking this proposed trade requires some sign and trading plus getting Childress out of Europe - but assuming those hurdles could be met, how do you Hawk fans feel about this trade:
Atlanta gets:
PF/C Al Jefferson
SG/SF Corey Brewer
Utah's 2010 top-18 protected draft pick
Minnesota gets:
When grading this trade, don't worry if the Wolves would do it, I'm curious what you think of this for the Hawks.

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three.
Elayne Boosler
Minny trade?
and we’ll even give you back Brewer———-Jefferson is that team’s best player & will be an all-star every year—NO WAY Minnesota would be that stupid————-Marvin “the Butt” Williams will never be any better than he is now————-and why on Earth would the Wolves want that backstabbing Childress who has NO outside shot over 5 feet
Lamar Odom
that is who we need!!! he would average a triple-double with us and get us to the third round or better—-he would be 2nd in scoring(close to JJ), would lead us in rebounding as well as assists! the lakers will not pay him his due——— in college he got Rhode Island ranked in the top 10…Rhode Island! He is only 29——we need to give him a 5-year deal for $10 mill/year, or trade JSmoov even for him… or “Butt” and JChill for him————-one of the few chances we’ll have in the next 2 years to significantly improve——-with our ownership problems, we’ll never be a player for the “big” players next season, unless Bosh wants to come back to his college town
I wouldn't trade Josh Snith, Joe Johnson, Al Horford or Marvin Williams if I was The Hawks. Excep...
Josh Smith, Joe Johnson Has Been Some of the Fans Favorites, I am Glad Mike Bibby, and Zaza Resigned.
I would not Trade Marvin Williams. We traded For Jamal Crawford a Phenomenal Trade. It was good for Both Teams , Some would say with The Drafting Of Jeff Teague, That leaves Atlanta with a Surplus of Guards, or DEPTH at position, I say Both. Al Jefferson While only Playing 50 Games Last Year Averaged 23.1 Points a Game 11.0 rebounds . He was Born 1985. But he avg over 30 minutes a game.
Al Horford avg 11.3points 9.3 Reb over 30 min. and born in 1986. He played in 67 games Horford was First Round Third Pick
a Great Choice. Although Al’s Stats are Great I Like Al Jefferson as well. Jefferson was First Round
Fifeteenth Pick.
I think at this Point The The 5 year Contract Jefferson for $65 Million is at Least one Consideration on Cap Space?
If The Hawks arrange any Trade, They ought to consider him Although he only played 50 Games, Any Atlanta Fan Would even hate to Lose Marvin Williams even in a trade for a man of this Caliber. Drew Gooden May Be a Good Option as Backup, I would have Liked McDeyess as Backup of any Three Spots For Atlantas Front Line. Atlanta Hasn’t resigned Either so Far But Marvin is a Restricted Agent. If I were Atlanta I would Rather Give Up Jamal Crawford , Than, Marvin Williams. So a Good deal may be Randolph Morris, Jamal Crawford, Maurice Evans for the Two.
It was a 4+5 Contract He Signed.
Al Jefferson had been reported to sign a 4+5 in Inside Hoops and Currently Plays for Minn Contract good to 2013.
He would help the Hawks to Championsip if we Traded For Him I think Maybe even more than Crawford Might But Thats Assuming he Plays Forward Opposite Smith.
If we could, Crawford (a Great Player), Randolph Morris, Maurice Evans (or Gardner, Hunter, S. Jones) Or Combination of One for One, Two For One, Two For Tw, Three for two, Four For Two, Etc. Might be Good Moves. Jeffersons signed to 2013.
It stated Amare was 4+5 as well
It said Amare Stroudamire was 4+5 % years for $73 Million. Thats Still a Lot of Money.
This guy is brilliant
Where do I sign Marvin and J. Chills away at?
