Undrafted Free-Agents

Who sticks out to you? I think Josh Heytvelt would be good to pick up. He is 6"11 and skilled. He could end up being Brad Miller who wasn't drafted and has played a big role on some pretty good teams. Dionte Christmas is another guy I would look at a little. He can score, but can he be a knock-down shooter type? Im sure there are other guys out there. We really need to pick up a big or 2 and maybe a knock-down shooter type specialist. Who do you have on your radar?

Leo Lyons, Curtis Jerrel, and Tryrese Rice

Leo Lyons was a guy that had a good in-between game in college. He is about 6-8 or 6-9 and should get a look somewhere. Curtis Jerrel has decent speed and penetration ability in a point. I think he can be a backup point somewhere and will get a look. Tryrese Rice is a pure scoring type point. I think this guy can be murder rather off pick and rolls or playing off of superstar type players just making shots. Other than Bibby we dont have a pure point on the squad and you can argue that he isn’t a pure point if u look at the way he was used in Sac.

Jeremy McNeal from Marquette

Jeremy McNeal is also an undrafted free-agent that we should look into. He is the same type of player as Mario West, but with better offensive skills and has some true ability. He would be a steal also.

What do we need him 4?

Don’t you understand we just picked up Crawford who is gonna play a lot of backup 2 and Teague who is also a combo guard. Christmas is a 2 guard where would he fit when you also consider Mario West? That makes no sense. Curtis Jerrel nor Tyrese Rice make sense as of now neither considering we have since resigned another guard in Mario West for what reason I don’t know.
