Hawks First Pick

The Atlanta Hawks selected Jeff Teague in the 2009 NBA draft. Jeff Teague is a sophomore from Wake Forest. He is listed as a point guard at 6 foot and 2 inches, and weighs about 180 lbs. This was a good pick from their situation and I am exited to see him play for the Atlanta Hawks.371_medium

Though I am disappointed...                                                                                                                                                                      I saw that the Minnesota Timberwolves had the 18th pick, they also had the 5th and 6th pick. Minnesota drafted two point guards, Ricky Rubio and Jonny Flynn. Ty Lawson had yet to be drafted, and I would not think the Timberwolves would not draft him, they did. I knew they were going to trade him, because they would not draft three point guards. So the Hawks settled for Teague. I would of liked Lawson to be a Hawk, no offense to Teague, but I think Lawson would be a better fit. I am still exited for what Jeff could do to help Atlanta.
