Around SBN: Raiders' GM Begins The Purge

Horford’s sprained right ankle was "better than expected" at Thursday’s practice, according to Hawks coach Mike Woodson. But he said that he would start Solomon Jones if Horford does not play.

Uh. What??? Did I miss an injury to Zaza that would necessitate Solo starting?

Za Za

needs to come off the bench. He’s a spark.

I'd feel better starting Flip.

JJ, Flip, Bibby, Mo, Smith.

My god, now that I actually read that, I am really scared.

It's a good call if only to avoid a higher chance of foul trouble,

Wade has been trying to get his teammates involved early, because if they don’t they have no chance. That has led to Horford picking up early fouls every game. If our center options are Zaza and Solo, we need to do everything possible to avoid Zaza getting into foul trouble. Horford is coming back though, if he can walk, he’ll play.

Starting Solo won’t help with foul trouble. Odds are he gets 2 fouls and Zaza comes in within the first 2 minutes. Let’s just hope Horford can go.

I just saw that ESPN commercial advertising Game 6,

pretty awesome. Josh Smith dunking over Jermaine, Wade rolling on the ground. It’s wonderful.

With Horford in the training room, it some how led to an Acie Law sighting and there’s never too many of those.

Wow, he's not very smart either

He talks so much crap about being classy, yet he just spent ten minutes talking crap about our players. He jumps onto a table pounding his chest and yet our guys are acting classless. What a hypocrite.

My Favorite comment: “I think it is great that Wade is actually upset by Mario West. C’mon dude your panties are showing.”

How can you criticize Mario West for playing like his life depends on it every play,

and then call out your team for not playing with enough intensity? The Heat have to make shit up to get pumped up for a playoff game, it’s actually sad.

Agreed.

That song

Who sings that one rock song “Fake It”? It think it could be Seether. I’m not that into the song but hell, if this series shifts back to ATL for a deciding Game 7 on Sunday, they should be rocking that song at Philips. It’s a fitting song for D-Wade, good way to ruffle his feathers even more.

Not sure

But The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus has an album called Don’t You Fake It, with a song called False Pretense. That would be somewhat fitting I suppose.
