Last time I heard “something teague related”, I lost 10 bucks and gained a belly rub. I don’t know what this means…

Replacement Ref helping Teague
Looks like Teague is living on the foul line. 7.5 times per game so far !!!!.I hope the replacement refs carry this same attitude of calling the games very tight into the season. It will help Teague greatly.
If Woody...
plays teague regularly and teague performs similarly to his preseason don’t we have to start giving Woody the benefit of the doubt re Acie and Salim?
If that happens, I’ll be the first in line to offer a mea culpa, but I remember (and the blog archives back it up) being extremely excited about Acie Law IV this time last year. So we’re getting ahead of ourselves just a bit.
Remember, last preseason, Acie Law was shooting like 38% from 3, he had a game-winning lay-up (yeah, okay, against Charlotte), and he was like 2-1 ast/To. And then the season started.
Expectations: Tempered.
oh i am way ahead of myself
i wrote out a pros and cons list for getting excited and the cons list destroyed the pros.
but if teague ends up being a total bust, i want to get a little excitement out of him. and the one thing that i can’t get over is the speed. the rest of it is preseason fluff, lies, or reality and we just don’t know.
but on the woody thing, acie was never going to work with out coach (and i say that in hindsight only), but i hope he works out somewhere else. he was right on salim in the sense that his shooting could not compensate for his defensive liability.
the one time i really slammed woody was when he played him a bunch in the boston series and had literally given him about 8 DNP’s out of 12 games leading up to it.
Sorry to say this but...
Teague isnt that great. hes real good dnt get me wrong but there are a lot of ppl blowin him up like hes great and thats not the case.
Teague is a good rookie wit a lot of potential and he is a reason to be excited bout the the ATL Hawks but not #17 more like #30
Teague is better than Christmas.
I call him “New Steve Nash”.
In all seriousness, he has been making very savvy passes. You can tell by the way he anticipates and sees the court that he might have “very good PG” written all over him.

of the yellow golf tee?

Also, Morris looks like he smiles right after the camera turns off at the end of his little segment.
