Playing without Hinrich and Gooden (and losing Deng in the third quarter) the Bulls lost 90-77 at Miami yesterday afternoon.
Gooden's absence should mean more Tyrus Thomas and Joakim Noah. Gooden's absence could mean more Aaron Gray and Andres Nocioni, power forward. The former is better for basketball; the latter is better for the Hawks. As Deng's absence will likely provide more playing time for Larry Hughes (career eFG%: 43.9) and Thabo Sefolosha (career eFG%: 46.4), the Hawks stand a decent chance of weathering the impact of Chicago's young big men should their extended presence come to pass.
