Gameday links...

Horford and Smith worked out on their own Thursday. Smith ran on the treadmill for the first time, although he isn’t expected to resume practice or play until after Thanksgiving. Horford had treatment on his right ankle and did some on-court work and shooting drills alongside Zaza Pachulia. Horford said he’ll see how he feels at the shootaround this morning and will try to play against the Bobcats.

I hope the Hawks are closely monitoring Raymond Felton's situation in Charlotte. The organization seems determined to play him out of position as much as possible. If he's available in the summer, he would not be a bad long term option to replace Mike Bibby at the point.

What an offensive mess. With Pachulia right now it’s almost 4-on-5 on the offensive end. And it’s not any better when you take him out and replace him with Soloman Jones.

Al Horford had a thunderous dunk one possession, followed by his second personal in the second possession. He was predictably replaced by Zaza.

Mike Woodson needs to do Timex commercials.

And then Zaza picks up a foul, his second, and Soloman Jones enters the game.

For some reason, Marvin exits the floor also. Mike Woodson has obviously lost count and given an extra foul to Marvin Williams, the only effective player for the Hawks. Atlanta will play the last 3:30 of the half without him.

And by the way, Flip Murray is channeling his inner Anthony Carter. 4 assists to 2 shot attempts. Weird first half.

Maybe it’s not Anthony Carter…maybe it’s Luke Ridnour. Four turnovers in 10 first half minutes.

Flip Murray dribbles into a triple team and has no idea what to do with the basketball…that’s nobody but vintage Ronald.

Surprisingly, Flip is a team-leading

+7 on the night. But that HAS to change now that we’ve got a floor combo of Acie, Bibby, JJ, Marvin, and Solo early in the fourth.

Can’t believe I’m saying this, but Woody needs to call more plays for Marv….
