Pre-Season Game Thread #5

WHO: Phoenix (1-2) at Atlanta (3-1)

WHEN: 7pm

WHERE: No TV, Hawks Radio Network (should any station preempt coverage of the pre-season game I suggest NBA Audio League Pass)

Injury Report: Marvin Williams, Mike Bibby, and Speedy Claxton are out. For Phoenix, Alando Tucker will miss the game. Leandro Barbosa and Amare Stoudemire have resumed practicing but neither is expected to play tonight.

The Hawks waived Marcus Hubbard and Frank Robinson. Neither had played a second of pre-season basketball. The roster is down to 15 players.

Great blog

Just wanted to compliment you on the fine job you’ve done with this blog over the past few weeks. There’s so few places to read insightful commentary on the Hawks, and I for one am glad you’re around.

I’m probably just overreacting to a man having a good game while teams are still phoning their defense in. But still, an extra shooter who isn’t undersized…maybe he could end up being what Salim was supposed to be for us.
